Dan Orr considers himself blessed to have worked with exceptional individuals while building and leading great IT teams for regional, national, and international healthcare organizations including HCA, Adventist West, and AmHS (now Premier) over the past 25 years.
He has succeeded as a leader utilizing matrix resources in multidisciplinary teams to define and meet strategic objectives. Those teams cut the red tape and blended resources from corporate, division, facilities and vendor partners’ teams to improve patient outcomes with cost effective technology.
For the past 10 years Mr. Orr lead the regional information technology teams for 20 HCA hospitals in 6 western states (AK, CA, ID, NV, UT, WA). Those 10 years followed two years leading IT teams for over 120 HCA Ambulatory Surgery Centers across the U.S.A.
Mr. Orr is a member of Health Information Management Services Society (HIMSS) and the Project Management Institute (PMI.org).
In his spare time Mr. Orr enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years and 3 sons.
